FoxFire

A Story Waiting to Be Written

FoxFire

Cherry and Bubinga with silver accents.

Deep in the woods, fallen timber sometimes carries a strange light of its own. Foxfire, the faint natural glow created by certain fungi on decaying wood, has inspired stories for centuries.

This pen borrows its name from that quiet woodland phenomenon. Warm Cherry meets the deeper reddish tones of Bubinga, also commonly known as African rosewood, their grain shifting from golden brown to rich rust and ember-red beneath the finish. Cool silver hardware gives the piece a clean contrast, letting the natural color of the wood take the lead.

Turned and finished by hand, FoxFire is one of a kind. The grain, color, and small variations belong only to this piece.

Made for wandering thoughts, half-finished stories, and whatever finds its way onto the page after dark.
