Amaranth

For words worth keeping.
A Story Waiting to Be Written

Amaranth

Some colors seem made to fade. Purpleheart refuses.

Freshly worked, the wood begins quietly, then deepens with time into shades of violet, plum, and wine. Its grain shifts beneath the surface, sometimes nearly black, sometimes catching the light with a flash of purple that wasn’t there a moment before.

Paired with warm gold hardware, Amaranth carries a little of that old-world richness without becoming ornate. Clean lines let the wood speak for itself, while the gold gives it just enough ceremony.

Its name comes from amaranth, a word long associated with the unfading and everlasting. A fitting name for a wood whose color seems to grow more itself with age.

Hand-turned from Purpleheart and finished individually, no two will ever carry quite the same grain or shade.
